VINTAGE 50'S JUMP 'N JIVE BLUES AT ITS BEST

No matter what you wish to call it - Jitterbug Blues, Jump Blues, Swing Blues, Jive Blues or Boogie-Woogie Revival - it is all based on dancing and is the precursor to the arrival of rhythm and blues and rock and roll in music history.


It isn't hard to imagine that eventually Spain would cotton to this fun up-tempo style of dance music and it is because of musicians like Peter Gun, Harmonica George and Capitan Wilson Puerto that this type of music is making people jump and jive!!!


Harmonica George and Peter Gun are actually the founders of the Spanish blues super group - The Fabulous Blueshakers - who have a supported touring blues legends such as Angela Brown (USA), Keith Dunn (USA), Deitra Farr (USA), Christian Rannenberg (GER) and Gene Taylor (USA).

In 2007 they released their first album "You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone" (Black Sound Records, Valencia) and showcased throughout Spain at clubs such as the Savoy Gijon, the Bluesville of Palma de Mallorca,  The Plantain in Valladolid and many more.

They have also been a popular component at Spain's premiere blues festivals such as Cazorla, Almeriblues, Sotogrande, Benidorm, Rock And River Bridge Genil, Hondarribia, Cycle Blues & Boogie Hospitalet in Barcelona, ​​Blues Cycle Center in Valencia in October, Festival Jazz Alto Palencia in Benafer (Castell├│n), Ubangi Stomp Benidorm and the Augustibluus of Haapsalu on Estonia in 2010.


Peter Gun and Capitan Wilsion Puerto are also part of Spain's premiere swing ensemble called The Swingin Affair and they just performed at the Winter Black Swing Festival in Alcoy.

So, as you can see, together they are the perfect blend of all these incredible blues styles that are designed to get your backbone moving!!
