It has finally been confirmed that the magnificent blues / gospel diva Linda B. Love will headline the Costa Blanca Blues monthly matinee concert on Sunday, JANUARY 24th at 14:00 in the Salon at Hostel / Bar Mediterraneo in Teulada.

“It has been a few months in the making to get this amazing yet busy talent to commit to our monthly Sunday Matinee Social” explains Karla Darocas, CBBlues organizer.

“We have had to keep the whole thing a secret from the CBBlues network of fans until it was confirmed.”

Linda B. Love is an American-born entertainer. She began her career as a model and then moved into acting. However, she admits that she was brought up singing gospel but would spend most of her time with her late grandmother singing blues.

Linda B. Love’s professional singing career began by singing backing vocals for the Chicago-based R&B super group – The Chi-Lites.  She went on to sing backing vocals in the major recording studios for recording artists such as Melissa Manchester, Linda Ronstadt and others – too many to mention here.

She went on to establish her own singing style by combining Blues and Gospel and performing at the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City and other establishments in Monte Carlo, London, France, Italy, Switzerland, Holland Greece and of course Spain.

After many years of living in Los Angeles, Linda B. moved to Europe and formed her own band – Linda Love and the Universal Blues Company.

She wrote and recorded her first CB entitled “Time For Me To Go” with her band and toured Europe.

During all of this, she studied law and French at Sorbonne University in Paris.  Needless to say, Linda B Love is a multi-lingual gal speaking French, Italian and Spain to boot!!

At present, Linda loves her acting and places that as her first priority but when she is not working all around Europe, she is living in Valencia City. This is where she met Buddy Paul – CBBlues music director and blues harp performer – and they became friends.

“Buddy Paul was rehearsing with his band,” explains Linda B. Love. “I popped in and sang a few songs with them – and the rest is history.”
