I rarely review a concert. There are generally none that are really worth reviewing. You know, you go to a concert and yada yada, its a good concert but its not one you really remember. Last night in Valencia I experienced a concert I'll remember for a very very long time.

The Lachy Doley Group ** Valencia 12 July 2017 ** REVIEW by Ray Goldberg

Australia blues keyboard superstar Lachy Doley came up to Valencia and blew the small stage right apart.

Selecting songs from his latest CD including the recently written Killer (which was a killer) around 60 people who had never heard of Lachy Doley experienced something they won't forget in a hurry.

Take Keith Emerson, Jon Lord, Manfred Mann and add a hell of a dose of originality and you have what Lachy and his band have.

Don't think this is purely about Lachy. CP on bass and Mr Barnes, the fanatical drummer are one hell of a tight rhythm section and when I say tight I mean (in the Aussie vernacular) tighter than a fish's ass.

This was one hell of a concert. Im posting photos and a small clip from last night.

If you have not heard Lachy and you really love Blues, soul and old time R n B....... you owe it to yourself to listen to some of his stuff on Youtube.

Lachy, mate, you deserve all the success due to you.
The hell, come back. I promise we will be there again.
